‘Poverty Free Da Nang’ Handicrafts
We buy traditional handicraft from the Ethnic minority villages in the Mountain country and then sell them in Australia.
This business generates an income for the village people, thus enabling the young people to afford better education and of course a better standard of living. The young people typically have to leave their home villages to come to Da Nang in order to gain some education.
We have now formed a partnership with 'Trading Table' in Lismore, Australia, where goods produced in Vietnam are sold in Australia and the proceeds come back to the local community which produced them. We are also exploring ways to expand and extend that to a wider customer base.
