Motto: A Poverty Free Da Nang
Aim: To equip and enable the poor in Da Nang to find meaningful occupation, bringing back their dignity and giving them a hope and a future.
Method and ‘vehicles’:
- Training, equipping, inspiring and helping launch our young people into meaningful and productive employment, with a flow on effect improving their family well being, as well as the extended community around them.
- Providing Mini loans for small business to help them get established with ‘start up’ capital.
- Work with, promote, and support young Vietnamese people wishing to set up their own income generating endeavors.
- Support and help young people from ethnic minority groups to generate an income from the sale of ‘traditional handicraft’ from their village areas, by assisting foreigners to purchase these items. Thus lifting the village income and reducing the poverty of these struggling people.
- Working hand in hand with our Vietnamese young people, so they can express and use their skills, education, gifts and talents, finding meaningful occupation, which can give them back their dignity, a better income, and therefore a better standard of living.
- Educate, illuminate and challenge visitors/students as to the plight of the poor, disabled, disenfranchised, struggling people in Da Nang, Vietnam.
- Working in association with other established Charity organizations in Da Nang, in order to also support, exchange ideas, and generate volunteers from the ‘visiting’ student numbers, for ongoing volunteer work and assistance.
